Itu, Brazil
Antenor & Phyllis Goncalves live and work in Itu, Brazil, a city of 100,000 people about 1 hour away from Sao Paulo. Their work has resulted in the church there growing from 35 members in 1995 to over 200 currently. Antenor does a regular radio program called Impacto, and also a TV program in conjunction with Herald of Truth. In 2002, over 120 Highland members flew to Itu for almost 2 weeks to encourage the Christians there by providing a summer youth camp, vacation Bible school, handyman services at the orphanage, and teaching and mentoring for Itu church.
