Jim Clark

Elder

Jim and his family have been part of Highland Church since 1990, serving on mission trips to Mexico and Brazil, the prayer ministry and Freedom Fellowship. Jim has been serving churches and para-church ministries in Arkansas, Memphis, St. Louis, Connecticut and Texas since 1983.  For the past 19 years he’s been privileged to lead the Christian Service Center, an outreach to unhoused and other low-income neighbors. His passion is intercessory prayer, pastoral care, sharing the gospel and discipleship. He loves Highland’s Christ-centeredness, freedom of the Holy Spirit and unity minded-ness with other believers in Jesus.

Jim grew up in Southern California as a surfer and made Super 8 films.  He came to Christ after college, was baptized at a small church and served as their volunteer youth minister. He loves hanging out with his wife, Susan, kids and grandkids, photography and videography. He is currently involved in co-leading Highland’s Men’s Ministry.
