Kristen Balliew
Kristen began working for Young Children’s World, Highland’s Tuesday/Thursday Mother’s Day Out Program, in 2021 as the Pre-K teacher in the Green Room, helping prepare students for Kindergarten. She has served as Director of YCW since June of 2022. Kristen helps create a fun environment for ages 6 weeks-5 year olds. She bakes, crafts and leads chapel for the 2-5 year olds. Kristen is passionate about creating an environment for children to get messy, socialize with others and learn through play! When not working, you can find Kristen drinking LOTS of coffee, baking cookies, making puzzles and spending time with her 5 children and husband, Slone.
